Beautiful tiles retailed at reasonable prices: my primary motivation for setting up
the Silver Lion Trading Company.

I’ve been passionate about fine quality tiles since I served an apprenticeship with Fired Earth in the early 1990s.  I then had a brief spell sourcing tiles for distributor Original Style before setting up my own wholesale tile business in 2002.

Since then I’ve mixed an enjoyment of travel and experiencing different cultures with my desire to discover new and interesting tile products and be the first to introduce them to the UK amongst other countries.

This has meant forging good relationships with tile manufacturers all over the world, working with them to develop products in interesting natural and recycled materials and colours to suit the latest design trends. By working direct with these manufacturers I can source top quality products and make sure my product knowledge stays right up to date.

Having supplied to the trade for over seven years, I decided the time was now right to make some of my own tile collections available to everyone through The Silver Lion Trading Company.
